Our Legacy
Three generations of the same idea.
That a farm should feed its neighbours, that a table should welcome strangers, and that beautiful food belongs to everyone.
- 1962
The first hectare
Grandfather Mabuza plants the first orange grove on the family land.
- 1985
The farm stall
A wooden table at the gate becomes a fixture of the district.
- 2008
The bakery
An old stable is rebuilt with a wood-fired oven. The first sourdough sells out by 9am.
- 2025
The estate
The restaurant, coffee house, bar and wedding pavilion open their doors.
A Letter
"We never set out to build a destination. We set out to build a good farm, and to feed people well. The rest, somehow, followed."
— The Mabuza Family
