About the Farm

A working estate, lovingly tended.

Forty hectares of orchards, vegetable gardens, beehives and whitewashed buildings — built around a single idea: that the best food is the food you grew yourself.

The Land

Where the soil sets the menu.

Ka'Mabuza sits at the foot of rolling hills, with deep loamy soil and a climate kind to fruit. We grow olives, citrus, stone fruit, heritage vegetables and herbs — and we keep bees, chickens and a small herd of dairy cows.

Everything we serve in the restaurant is either grown here or sourced from neighbours we know by name.

The Buildings

Cape Dutch lines, African heart.

Our architecture borrows from the grand wine farms of the Cape — gabled walls, lime-washed white, dark timber, slate floors — but the spirit is firmly of this place. Open verandahs. Long shadows. Generous welcomes.
